Our store is located in the downtown area of Bethel, Connecticut. We offer an eclectic collection of fine gifts for practically every occasion. The Gift Cottage is a destination store where you'll want to enjoy what we call "a frivolous shopping experience" each and every time you visit. There is ample parking behind our store where you'll seldom have to fight the mall crowds especially around the Holidays. We have 6 magical rooms filled with wonderfully exciting gift ideas. Lines like Vera Bradley, Pandora Charm Bracelets & Necklaces, John Medeiros Jewelry, Crabtree & Evelyn, Thymes Fragrances, San Francisco Music Boxes, Porter 19th Century Music Box Replicas, Yankee Candles, Beverly Clark Wedding Accessories and Carlson Craft & Birchcraft Invitations & Announcements are just a few of our offerings. We also carry uniquely different local products like Hauser Chocolatier Truffles rated third best in the U.S. by the NY Times.

When you can't visit our store in person we hope you'll find our WEB site a reasonable alternative. We're not quite ready to begin full scale e-business over the internet from our store but do have that as a near-term goal. For now we'll take verifiable (for your protection) credit card orders over the phone and can ship almost anywhere.

Please note however that we currently have 4 online ordering links under our Online Ordering tab: Beverly Clark Wedding Collections, Birchcraft Studios Wedding Invitations and, seasonally,  Birchcraft Holiday Greeting Cards, and Carlson Craft Holiday Greeting Cards. We offer discount pricing if you order items on these sites because the product is inventoried by the supplier and your order is shipped directly to your home.  The online ordering process is convenient, secure and easy to use. We encourage you to check them out and see for yourself how easy it is to order these special items from the comfort of your home.
